BOOKZ 'N THE HOOD
BOOKZ N THE HOOD is a program created by B.L.A.C.K. 2 LIFE that provides free books to children by hosting free book fairs and placing small classroom and community libraries in underserved schools and neighborhoods nationwide.

Unfortunately, millions of children living in low-income neighborhoods are growing up without books. That’s millions of children around this nation living in book deserts with limited or no access to quality reading material. Everyone knows that reading is fundamental for everyday life. But books are also great tools that can be used to spark a child’s imagination, strengthen their critical thinking skills, and connect them to a whole new world outside of their own!
