B2L 2019-2020 Teacher Grant

B2L is sponsoring 15 - $100 teacher grants for K-12 educators for  the upcoming 2019-2020 school year. 

 

Every year countless teachers across the nation come out of their own pockets to purchase necessary classroom supplies. With so many schools underfunded, this financial need becomes a reality for far too many educators. To make matters worse with the new tax law that passed last year, teachers now cannot write off these expenses on their taxes. B2L has acknowledged this problem, and would like to assist teachers with a small grant, to reimburse a portion monies coming from hard working teachers' pockets.

Everyone can help with this initiative in one way or another. If you know any teachers please share this opportunity with them.  If you care to donate towards this particular B2L initiative please send a donation via one of the following sources with Teacher Grant as the memo:  CashApp:$B2LFE Venmo:Black2life Paypal & Zelle:blc2life@gmail.com or directly through our website black2life.org. You can also purchase B2L shirts on our website and all proceeds in the month of August will go towards this initiative.

For Teachers to apply: Please send an email to info@black2life.org with the "Teacher Grant"in the subject line/memo.  In the body of the email please let us know the following: your name, school & location, number of years as a teacher, what grades and subjects you'll be teaching this year, and your goals for the upcoming year.

Deadline is August 31st, 2019 and winners will be announced Sept 4th, 2019. Any K-12 teacher with an application submitted via email is eligible.
